Meals: All of the meals during your stay are prepared by your host Alison. "Big Al", as she is known, is an expert at home-cooking ranch meals that are sure to keep you satisfied. We serve beef raised right here at SK Ranch, as well as vegetables from our garden. Desserts made-from-scratch round out your meal...do your best to save a little room for something special after the main meal, or just wait a few minutes to let things settle. But don't wait too long...its rare to see Big Al's desserts become leftovers!
Occasionally, Steve will lend a hand in the cooking, typically when it's time for a meal prepared in the Dutch-oven. And, there's a few other cooks who specialize in authentic ranch meals such as Rocky Mountain Oysters. (If you're not sure what Rocky Mountain Oysters are, just ask! Or be adventurous...have a few, then ask!)
Don't forget that special accomodations can be made for those with dietary restrictions...just let us know!
Snacks: There's plenty of snacks kept on hand during your stay, because we know that its important to stay hydrated and fueled-up during a long day of ranch work and fun.
